The story is actually very well-written, taking some twists and turns that long term comic fans may not even see coming. It’s up to Earth’s mightiest heroes to take him out, and the Avengers are up to the challenge. His goal: to use his newfound powers of control over time and space to… well, conquer, as his name suggests. A distress signal is sent to the Guardians of the Galaxy, who answer the call by taking Kang’s forces down, but not before he escapes to Earth. Personally, I would only buy this when it drops in price, as I don't think it's worth the full asking amount. The story begins with Kang the Conqueror waging war against the world of Nova Prime. Even though this is like the 394th Lego game (slight exaggeration of numbers to make my point) you still can't revolve the camera around the action in the levels (although you can in the free-roam of the open-world) Isn't as easy as previous games - this might be a plus point for some, but it isn't for my five-year old daughter who has to get my help a lot of the time (and it sometimes takes me a while to figure out what to do) Open-world isn't instantly accessible and takes a number of levels before you get to it really difficult to see what to do at times (and if you have a sunny day then I wouldn't even turn this on as it's impossible to see anything in a dark area) Graphics too small when playing on the Switch handheld mode. Good collecting fun and a great open-world (when you get to it) Good voice acting (although be aware that the actors from the movies have not provided their voices) ![]() Anyway, the pro's and con's from my perspective are as follows: ![]() Perhaps I only have this opinion as I've played too many, or perhaps the magic is gone forever. and that's not to take away from the game developers who do a great job, it's just they seem like more of a chore to play these days. Unfortunately, I think that the Lego games have lost something recently. It took everything I enjoyed about the movies (the original trilogy) and made playing it an enjoyable (if not easy) experience. I think it was the xBox that I had the Lego Star Wars trilogy, and I remember loving it. ![]() I remember when the first lego games came out.
